Weaving Communion and Mission at Mater Immaculata School in Madrid
23 January 2026From January 15 to 19, Priscilla and Amilbia continued their canonical visit in Europe, Madrid, sharing the life and mission of the community and the apostolic center, Mater Immaculata.
We highlight the richness of an intercultural community with diverse apostolic projects, integrated into the reality of the school. One of the sisters works in the core team as an active member, while another sister of the community studies Theology.
The missionary and fraternal experience of daily life at the center has been very enriching, and it is also shared with other Claretian sisters present in Madrid, who carry out their pastoral and guidance work at this educational center.
The meeting with the teachers, the management team, the students, and the university community of alumni reaffirmed the shared commitment to continue promoting a comprehensive education aimed at transforming society. The presence of the Claretian Missionaries, walking alongside committed, courageous, and co-responsible laypeople, ensures the continuity of the charismatic inspiration and offers a privileged opportunity to strengthen the mission of proclaiming the Gospel with joy and hope.
We experienced the joy of celebrating the 141st anniversary of the passing of Mother María Antonia París at our apostolic center. The shared Eucharist and the concert prepared by the secondary school students made this gathering a very special and profound day, leaving space for gratitude for the life and charismatic experience of M. Antonia París.
As a sign of walking together to build the Kingdom from our charismatic roots, the school community planted a palm tree as an expression of care for vocation, fraternity, and our common home.
Together, we continue praying to keep discovering paths of unity through the different ways of encountering God, contemplating the various faces in which He revealed Himself during this canonical visit.
