When I look at the Cross

When I look at the Cross,

I see the love given till the end,

I see the freest forgiveness,

I see the limitless abandonment in the hands of the Father,

I see the deepest loneliness of the Son of God,

I see the mercy that embraces all,

I see and I learn.

I keep silent.

I see and I let myself be loved in this way,

And when I feel the Cross in my life, I remember that He has already passed it.

I see and I find the strength of the Kingdom of God to bring it to others.
