Youth: A Journey of Challenges and Vocational Search

Youth is a sacred time of listening, in which the heart begins to discern its calling. The journey of youth is, at its essence, a search for meaning, truth, and belonging.

From 27 to 31 July, we began a new and beautiful stage in the lives of our Founders: youth. During that week, Priscilla Latela, Superior General, guided and encouraged us as we journeyed through both the youthful stage of our Founders and our own. It was a meaningful experience to return to this time of youth, remembering and valuing the dreams, desires, and hopes we held for the future, while deepening our understanding of the foundational experiences of our vocation in light of the lives of the Founders.

Through open dialogue, we also had the opportunity to share and reflect on the essential criteria of the Claretian vocational process, inspired by the experience of the Founders and our own personal vocation.

The week was filled with reflections, readings, various activities, profound moments of prayer, opportunities for sharing, and both personal and group work. The culminating moment was the Rite of Gratitude with María Antonia París, which invited us to relive the significant moments of our vocational journey: the name by which God has called us and the motto that guides our lives.
