The Apostolic Vicariate of Pando, to which the community of Guayaramerín, Bolivia belongs, met for its XLIV Assembly from 23 to 26 November in Chumichucua. Eugenio Coter, diocesan and religious priests, nuns and lay people. Taking up its objective of “Promoting and strengthening the ministerial Church with an Amazonian face, missionary, in solidarity, announcing the joy of the Gospel, giving priority to the family, the young, the care of the common home, so that we may renew communion and life in Christ in the Vicariate”, it was possible, as a local Church, to look at the past with gratitude, the present with joy and the future with hope. The gift of meeting in person was also significant, as was the virtual participation of religious and lay people who, in the midst of the assembly, supported parish and work activities. Finally, the reflection was also enlightened by some of the contributions to the papers of the First Ecclesial Assembly of Latin America and the Caribbean. We entrust this moment in our history to Mary’s intercession.
