From 2 to 13 December Amilbia makes the canonical and fraternal visit to the community of Yogyakarta, a formation house that welcomes and accompanies the postulants and aspirants.
The time shared with the community was intense in sharing fraternal life, personal dialogues, formative meetings with the postulants, junior sisters, and the community. We celebrated the feast of the Immaculate Conception with joy, fraternal sense, joining the Congregation from the Eucharist presided by Fr. Antoniys Moruk cmf at home and accompanied by several lay people close to the community.
As in all places after the covid, a pastoral opening begins slowly and the sisters are integrated into the various pastoral activities, especially visits to the sick in some families.
I also visited the educational centre where two of the sisters carry out the mission. On this day, an educational day was held on the care of the earth, coordinated by our sister Tina and the group of students that she accompanies, there was an atmosphere of joy, active participation of the students, presence of parents, sense of communion and respect in the midst of the diversity of religions.
Thanks to the sisters of the East Asia Province, especially the formation communities I visited: Vietnam, Philippines, Zamboanga, Yogyakarta, for their welcome and openness to live this experience as a gift from God.
