Celebrating as a Family… from the heart

9 June 2024

On the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as Claretian Family we celebrated it in the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in Parioli (Rome). We felicitated and thanked the presence of the Heart of Mary in the missionary life of the Claretians.  The heart recalls human interiority, intimacy, depth, freedom and creativity. Only from a small heart, placed in the hands of God, can we live these values that, with so much faith, Mary made her own.

The Auxiliary Bishop of Rome-North, Daniele Salera, presided at the solemn Eucharist, concelebrated by the Superior General Fr. Mathew Vattamattam and the Claretian Missionaries of the communities of Rome.  The Claretian Family, parishioners, friends and benefactors were present to thank the Lord for the presence of Mary in all circumstances of life and mission. We shared experiences and also an agape.

May Mary, of her great Heart, help each one of us to live from the heart to discover that there are many reasons to be a son/daughter of the Heart of Mary: To Know, to Love, to Serve, and to Praise, as Claret did.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
