Embarking afresh

22 February 2019

“Accompanying involves trying genuinely to understand the experience and the spiritual path of the other …
The authentic accompaniment in the style of Christ sees everyone as equals before the Lord, and structures based on accompaniment make everyone feel and appear equal before the Lord.  This affirmation places the entire Christian community at the same level.”

These words taken from the intervention of Card. Cubich at the meeting on the Protection of Minors held in the Vatican, serve as a framework in which we remember the day of “embarkation” of our first community – María Antonia París and her four companions -, on the way to Santiago de Cuba, starting a new family … A religious family where the Founders wanted us to be able to walk together and help each other in vocational fidelity: in relationships, services, path of faith and personal growth.
Each day afresh, we somehow embark on the following of Jesus.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
