Feast of the Assumption of Mary

Every year on 15 August, the feast of the Assumption of Mary into heaven, we commemorate an event that we define as the CHARISMATIC FOUNDATION OF OUR INSTITUTE.

This is how Maria Antonía París narrates it in her Writings:

“Day of the Assumption of Mary most holy. I gather the young ladies I had admitted as companion with a great devotion and fervor, offering ourselves to God by a vow of crossing the seas and go to any part of the world without dividing the group… offered ourselves to suffer any kind of trial for love of our Lord Jesus Christ…nor go away from the opinion of our superior in anything”. In the scenario of ecclesial and world-wide calls, we feel invited to renew our commitment to unity, trying to live the experience of harmony, a gift of the Spirit that makes us feel reconciled with ourselves, with others, with the world, in order to announce the Gospel with the audacity and availability, in missionary goes forth, that our first five sisters had.
