“Day of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary (1851) I gathered the young women I had admitted as companions… and we all communed with great devotion and tenderness, offering ourselves to God with a vow to cross the seas and go anywhere in the world without making division between us, nor depart from anything of our superior’s opinion … ”(Aut. 70)
On this anniversary of the vow of Tarragona, we want to celebrate the fidelity experience of each Claretian missionary as a guarantee of the Charism, which resides in each one and since it is reconfiguring – in each time and place – the wealth of the community, its identity and its contribution to the revitalization of ecclesial life (Cf DC 1969, CP 15.27).
