The Vocation put to the test
25 August 2026Periods of hardship, uncertainty, and crisis are an inevitable part of life. As we grow older, we gradually gain greater wisdom and insight into the purpose and meaning of our existence. Through our experiences, we also learn how to confront difficulties with courage and face the challenges that arise along our journey.
From 10 to 12 and from 17 to 21, Dulce Maria Carvajal, Priscilla, and Amilbia led the reflection on the importance of facing life’s challenges with wisdom and maturity. They encouraged everyone to embrace each experience as an opportunity for growth and to move forward with a grateful heart, recognizing how different moments in life help shape who we are.
She reminded us of the attitudes that help us live a fulfilling and meaningful life: nurturing a healthy relationship with God, with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. Rather than remaining trapped in the past, we are encouraged to embrace the present and look toward the future with hope and openness.
During the second part of the session, Priscilla and Amilbia emphasized how our Founders lived their vocation and mission despite the challenges, difficulties, and painful experiences they faced at different times in their lives. What kept them faithful and persevering was their deep relationship with God, their constant search for His will, their passion for the mission, and their unwavering desire to do what is good and just before Him.
The activities, group dynamics, moments of prayer, reflections, and presentations became meaningful and enriching moments throughout the sessions. They created an atmosphere of participation, openness, and sharing, allowing everyone to express their thoughts, experiences, and feelings.
We are deeply grateful to Dulce, Priscilla and Amilbia for their guidance and accompaniment during this significant stage of our lives and the life journey of our Founders.
