WALKING TOGETHER WITH OTHERS…

25 April 2019

From the 8th to 17th April, Ana Maria prefect of Spirituality and Priscilla prefect of Apostolic Mission have been in Cuba with the desire to continue and at the same time to promote with novelty the theme of WALKING WITH OTHERS, on which our XVII General Chapter insisted with so much interest. In Cuba they met with the sisters of both communities to share, reflect, and contribute on the topic.

They have also had a meeting with the coordinators of the Lay Claretian Family and with all the members who are part of it with the aim of continuing to make a way to strengthen the Claretian identity and to make everyone aware of the fact that we all participate in the Charism of Paris-Claret from the different vocations.

They also had a meeting with the coordinators of the Lay Claretian Family and with all the members who are part of it with the aim of continuing the way to strengthen the Claretian identity and to make aware that we all participate in the Charism of Paris-Claret from the different vocations.

There have been moments of sharing with the parish communities where the sisters carry out the mission and especially with our Claretian brothers.

An echo of a young girl from the Family:

“This is our family”

Written by: Rosario Vázquez Fernández (Lay Claretian Family, Santiago de Cuba)

This is our Claretian Lay Family, composed by teenagers, young people and adults, who, from the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba, dream of building the Kingdom of God through the mission.

Last Friday, April 12th, the family reunited as they usually do every month. This time, we received as a pleasant surprise the sisters of the General Government, the Religious of Mary Immaculate Claretian Missionaries, Ana Maria and Priscilla. Our family has been walking with joy for about six years, inspired by the Gospel and the missionary example of Saint Anthony Mary Claret and the Venerable Maria Antonia Paris. On this occasion we share about the importance of renewing and maintaining our charism in order to enrich the Church and be witnesses of God in the world. This is our Lay Claretian Family, composed of teenagers, youth and adults, who, from the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba, dream of building the Kingdom of God through the mission.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
