Facing new challenges in the mission…

24 February 2024

Availability and affordability of medicine for people at Madagascar is really a big Challenge. The cost of medicines are two times more than the original cost or the rate at the capital. And thus contributing and perpetuating to the chain of poverty. When people came to know that we are here, people even came from 15 to 20 Kms walking to get medicines, so initially we shared the basic medicines we had for our use.  Considering  this situation, we received small project for this purpose and purchased some baseline medicines. Although we have no specific place to receive them, we attend them at our door steps and in some cases at their homes as well as health teaching.  Most of the illnesses we have identified and treated are respiratory tract infections, malnutrition, skin diseases and malaria. As we had thought the project could not be established, but slowly it’s getting its shape. Health and safe water is still non accessible to most of them. Our small help is in fact a consolation for many. We receive lots of blessing from the people who benefit and from above for the service done. May God continue to build this this mission according to His will and need of the people. Through our evangelizing mission  people are brought to faith and to Church.
