” Care for Vocation ” Vocation May 2024

30 April 2024

The month of May is beginning and for the Claretian Missionaries it is especially dedicated to celebrate the Gift of the Claretian Vocation. A time in which we renew the invitation to become aware that vocation is a gift that we have received gratuitously and at the same time it calls us to give a generous, creative and joyful response in our daily work. This year, we want to celebrate it in a special way by welcoming the inspiration of the XVIII General Chapter to care for the gift of vocation through prayer, life in communion and mission. It is a certainty that God has always counted on us and therefore gives us, “even before we were born” (cf. Jeremiah 1:5) the vocation to care as He does.  In other words, we have been created by God and He Himself enriches us with being a caregiver. In experiencing our “caregiving vocation” we are at the same time invited to “care for this vocation”,

To care for the vocation is also to pray for one another, in a special way for the sisters, the formees, young people with vocational restlessness and interest in knowing us, and, in general, the young people of the 4 continents where we are present as Claretian Missionary Sisters.

With Mary who knows how to take care of life, let us live this month giving generously of our time especially to those who need it.

During these days, the text “María Antonia París, friend and companion in the journey” is being distributed.
